NextGen Impact Award

The NextGen Impact Award was started in 2025 as a collaboration award through the Phoenixville Chamber Of Commerce. The award is given to a deserving K-12 student who has done some type of unprompted community service within the Phoenixville area school district.  Whether it be big or small. The awardee(s) is invited to the Chamber's yearly awards gala in March to accept their award.

Any parent, nonprofit, teacher, principal or community member can nominate a deserving student. Nomination period runs through February every year.  A link to the nomination form through the Phoenixville Chamber will  appear here during the nomination period.  If you are chosen for the NextGen Award, the Phoenixville Chamber will reach out to let you know! 

Kit's Kloset makes sure the award is available to area students, but that is where our involvement stops.  The Phoenixville Chamber receives all nominations and has a nomination committee go through the applications to vote on the winner.  Kit's Kloset does not see the nominations, does not know who the nominations are, nor can choose a winner.

On March 19th 2025, the Walk A Mile In Her Shoes Team, comprised of Vivona Xu, Alice Lynch, Gabriella Goudie, Brynn Klotzbach and Emerson Cairns won the the first ever NextGen Impact Award.  This award is given in the spirit of community organizing and celebrates the impact of youth efforts!
